Lindsay Vonn Wins Best Female Athlete ESPY

Olympic skiier Lindsey Vonn won the ESPY for the Best Female Athlete at tonight’s awards show.

In 2010 Vonn became the first American woman to win gold in the downhill, and she followed it up with a bronze in the Super-G.

Vonn also had 11 victories and 17 podiums in the 2010 World Cup season, 6 in the downhill, 4 in the Super G and 1 in the Super combined. Vonn also won the overall World Cup title for the third year in a row, the first American to do so.
